The 2020 Summer CSA season is set to begin June 1st and lasts for 20 weeks until the start of the Fall CSA. Pick-ups are on Mondays or Fridays from 3pm-7pm at Heart Beets Farm.
We also offer boxed shares for pick-up:
Mattapoisett on Saturdays from 9:30-10:30 (at RopeWalk)
Ice Cream Barn on Mondays 6-7pm
SOAM on Saturdays 10-2 [271 Sharps Lot Rd, Swansea, MA]
Anawan Farm on Tuesday 4-6:30
Angela Saltalamacchia's House (in Halifax) on Tuesdays PM
All of our delivered shares incur a $50 delivery fee ($25 for Petite) which covers fuel, time, materials (boxes/bags) and any hosting costs. For summer standard shares this equates to $2.50 a week.
We offer three share sizes for the Summer season. It is difficult to say exactly how many people each share will feed. A family of 4 who are new to eating vegetables may receive plenty from a standard share while a couple of vegetarians may find that a premium share better suits their diet. We generally recommend couples opt for standard shares and large families opt for premium shares but no one knows your diet better than you. If this is your first CSA we recommend our Petite Share - it will help you ease into seasonal eating and feel like a local Ag Hero!
Feel free to ask us for help deciding what share size is appropriate for you.
